Described by her former colleague Dr. Christiane Northrup as a "wonderfully skilled physician and healer," Dr.Rebecca Elia has over three decades of experience in both holistic and conventional medicine as a gynecologist. As a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach with expertise in life transitions and work-life balance, Rebecca's many presentations to both medical and professional women's groups focus on empowering the audience with practical tools that allow them to create health and fulfillment in the midst of extreme work and societal demands. She has always pushed the envelope in a predominantly male world, by giving talks on feminine-masculine imbalance in the windowless sterile basement of a major medical center to experiential coaching presentations centered on "Finding Fulfillment." Rebecca's own search for this balance has led her to create a fulfilling life both here in the states and through yearly sojourns to Greece.
Rebecca is passionate about coaching women physicians, especially those who are mothers and leaders. She has become known as the Physician Mom's Coach, as she works with busy women physicians who are worried about their well-being and how this affects their loved ones. She helps them live vibrantly, so they can experience their extraordinary lives now. She especially loves to support women physicians who hold the power to make a tremendous impact in our world, and believes that together we can make the needed and necessary changes to not only improve our healthcare systems but to create a more empowered nation for our women and children. If our goal is to improve the well-being of our nation, then one effective place is to start with ourselves.
With additional credentials in Holoenergetics TM and Psychology, her focus goes beyond providing her clients with tools to stay out of burnout and centers on true fulfillment and deep transformation. Her clients are improving residency programs, building medical centers, creating physician wellness structures, and, even better, enjoying their personal lives along the way. They each learn the secret to no longer having to sacrifice themselves to create the lives they truly want.
